Because of past experiences, I believed that once carpeting is cleaned it is ruined. After cleaning, my carpeting would act like a magnet for dust and dirt. The texture of the carpet felt different and the color seemed faded and shot. Therefore, I was reluctant to get my new office carpeting cleaned.
However, in the past two months, two events dictated that I change my mind. The rubber wheel on a heavy piece of equipment locked and was dragged along the carpeting.
